Our bed and breakfast, 'Les chambres des Bujours', is located in a small village in the heart of the 'Saintonge Romane', an area rich in Roman churches and Abbeys, just 5 km from Saintes, in the Charente-Maritime area of Western France.
Our House :
Here, at our restored farmstead which dates back to the 18th century, you'll enjoy a genuine family atmosphere where reminders of activities of days gone by are much in evidence.
We have 4 comfortable, beautifully decorated guest rooms and you will wake up to a delicious and copious breakfast.
In the center of Charente-Maritime:
Our B&B is the perfect base from which to head out and explore the various sights of our beautiful region; Saintes, Cognac, Royan, the ile d'Oleron, the ile de Ré, ile d’Aix, ile Madame, La Rochelle and also the marais poitevin. Stay with us and visit the numerous castles, abbeys, museums, Roman churches and family theme parks in the area.
If you are of an active disposition, the Charente river and the Atlantic Ocean can be your playground. Go canoeing, swimming, sailing or fishing. Or explore the beautiful countryside on foot or by bike thanks to the numerous waymarked paths and tracks that criss-cross the area.
